For a very important project in Indonesia
In October 2021, Andritz Hydro begun the on-site manufacturing of Gates and Penstocks for Asahan 3, Sumatera Island, Indonesia. Asahan 3 is an important milestone for Indonesia’s development, generating low-cost electricity and giving a contribution to the country’s commitment to increase the share of renewables in its total energy mix. Andritz Hydro had previously signed a contract with PT. PLN (Persero) for the design, manufacturing and installation of both Gates and Penstocks.
