By utilizing our patented Servo-Tronic system, the machine maintains perfect roll parallelism through dual independent hydraulic and mechanical controls, ensuring highly accurate force distribution. For massive tubular components like jackets, monopiles, and tripods used in offshore platforms, the ideal solution is the Davi MAV 3-roll variable axis series. These heavy-duty machines are engineered to roll high-yield strength plates with thicknesses ranging from 50 mm (2 in) to 250 mm (9 7/8 in) with extreme precision. The MAV series allows for individual horizontal movement of the side rolls and vertical movement of the top roll, acting with the high-pressure capacity of a press-brake but offering far greater geometric flexibility. Equipped with three motorized rolls as a standard, the system guarantees optimal torque transmission without the risk of plate slippage, allowing operators to pinch at the precise tangent point to achieve the shortest possible flat end.
