When LMG set out to upgrade their rolling capabilities to meet demanding heavy-plate fabrication standards, they turned to Davi for an all-electric, sustainable solution. By replacing traditional hydraulic operations with the fully electric Davi MCE e-POWER 4-roll machine equipped with the iRoll eXtreme CNC, LMG eliminated hydraulic fluid dependencies, improved overall energy efficiency, and achieved unmatched operational precision with zero test scrap.

The Challenge

LMG faced strict precision requirements and rising operational costs while aiming to reduce their carbon footprint. Traditional hydraulic bending systems posed risks of oil leaks, high energy consumption, and long setup times that relied heavily on operator expertise to avoid material waste.

The Solution

Davi provided the MCE e-POWER fully electric 4-roll plate bending machine, integrated with the iRoll eXtreme CNC control system. This system completely removes hydraulic control units, enabling direct servomotor actuation, automated real-time program adjustments, and seamless multi-axis synchronization.

This operational success is backed by Davi’s long-term service commitment: any technical or programming questions are resolved immediately via remote support from Davi's dedicated North American customer service hub in Texas].  LMG’s confidence in Davi technology has led them to expand their fleet further, ordering a custom 4 ft. (1,200 mm) all-electric plate roll to automate the fabrication of non-standard oval manways.
