Outfeed Conveyor
A motorized handling table designed to support, balance, and safely transport completed cylinders or structural shapes away from the machine.
Technical FAQ
Long plates entering or exiting the machine can sag, causing guiding errors and dangerous material leverage stresses. Side supports are adjustable, roll-equipped arms mounted to the machine frame that support the extended flat wings of the plate. They maintain precise plate alignment relative to the tangent point, protecting thin materials from buckling and improving part accuracy. All Davi MCA and MCB machines feature built-in retrofitting provisions, allowing side supports to be added easily as production needs evolve.
Safely removing completed, heavy rolled sections from the machine prevents material damage and maintains smooth production flow. An outfeed conveyor is a motorized support system that safely receives and moves formed parts away from the work area. It maintains structural alignment as the part exits the machine, prevents handling scratches, and speeds up the packaging workflow. Davi outfeed conveyors can be synchronized with the machine's CNC to handle complex parts like multi-groove spirals.
Removing completed cylinders quickly from a 4-roll machine minimizes cycle delays during high-volume production. A plate ejector is a hydraulic mechanism that pushes the finished, rolled cylinder forward off the top roll once the drop-end yoke opens. It shortens cycle times by accelerating part removal and eliminates the need for operators to manually pull heavy shells from the work area. Davi integrates automated ejector systems into its high-speed production lines for sectors like automotive and HVAC fabrication.
