A gantry loader is an automated overhead crane system equipped with vacuum or magnetic lifting grids to move raw plates onto the feed line. It enables fully hands-free material handling, lowers labor costs, and maintains a highly consistent production pace for mass production. Removing completed cylinders quickly from a 4-roll machine minimizes cycle delays during high-volume production. A plate ejector is a hydraulic mechanism that pushes the finished, rolled cylinder forward off the top roll once the drop-end yoke opens. It shortens cycle times by accelerating part removal and eliminates the need for operators to manually pull heavy shells from the work area.
