Valco Manufacturing Inc., a Valiant TMS company, located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, provides fabrication, machining, metrology, and finishing services. They specialize in providing custom and low-volume production components for the automotive, construction, mining, and aerospace industries. A year ago, the team made a decision to retire their 3-roll manual plate bending machine and invest in a CNC 4-roller that would be more accurate, easy to use, repeatable, and capable of storing programs.

Currently, Valco is utilizing this equipment to fabricate robot risers for the automotive industry. “We’ve gained tremendous efficiency by adding the DAVI 4-Roller CNC Plate Bending Machine to our process. It allows us to roll a range of materials and lengths with great accuracy. We’ve cut our rolling time by over 60% and reduced our fitting and welding time,” Trepanier says. “The speed of the machine allows us to be cost-competitive while manufacturing to higher levels of quality, leading to some of the rolling we previously outsourced now being done in-house.”
