Upgrading Heavy-Duty Capabilities Without Compromising Quality

Operating in the high-stakes heavy fabrication sector, Bendworx faced a dual challenge:

Replacing Legacy Equipment: They needed to replace a long-serving plate rolling machine with a modern solution capable of delivering repeatable precision across a wide range of plate thicknesses and diameters.

Davi MCB (4-Roll Plate Bending Machine): Chosen for medium to heavy-duty plate rolling. The MCB's 4-roll configuration clamps the plate tightly with the bottom roll, ensuring total control and eliminating plate slippage during pre-bending. Its planetary guides and patented Servo-Tronic roll parallelism system deliver maximum geometry control and tight-diameter capability.
Davi MCP (3-Roll Double Pinch Angle Roll): A heavy-duty section bender featuring three independent motorized rolls as standard. Driven by the Davi exclusive Torque Management System (DTMS), the MCP automatically synchronizes roll speeds and balances torque, preventing material slippage even when bending highly asymmetrical profiles.

The Results

Flawless Heavy Profile Bending

Utilizing the heavy-duty MCP, Bendworx successfully rolled a massive 310 UC 118 (Universal Column / 12.2" column) to a tight 3,182 mm (125.28") radius with virtually zero twisting or distortion. They also processed 200NB (Nominal Bore / 7.87" nominal diameter) pipes with a 12 mm (0.47") wall thickness down to a 1,600 mm (62.99") radius.

The automated, easy-to-program controls of the MCB 4-roll machine significantly accelerated setup and rolling cycles, translating directly into faster project turnarounds for their clients.
