This advanced structural reinforcement prevents the "barrel effect," ensuring consistent cylindrical accuracy and strict compliance with dimensional tolerances across the entire length of the pipe.
Yes, the MAV variable geometry system allows the side rolls to move horizontally and the top roll to adjust vertically, functioning similarly to a highly flexible press-brake. This variable axis configuration allows fabricators to adjust the interaxis distance dynamically, giving you the versatile capacity to form heavy-duty penstocks or shift to tight-diameter pipes up to 50 mm (2 in) thick using a single rolling system.
For standard heavy-wall production, our pre-stressed rolls can form high-pressure pipes starting from 508 mm (20 in) in diameter and above.
