FLANGES? CAN BE COLD ROLLED ON A DAVI SECTION BENDER

Today there is a quick and effective way to bend the flanges that are used to build wind turbines. Rather than having them manufactured in a forging process, the flanges can be cold bent from a solid bar on a Davi section bender for more efficiently and more cost effective, ready to be welded, machined, drilled and ready for use.

This is a much more productive and inexpensive method to obtain the flanges, which have technical characteristics absolutely comparable to those forged. In this way, the flange manufacturer can plan its production in shorter lead times and at competitive costs.

A leading manufacturer of flanges in northern Italy uses a DAVI MCP section bender, to roll all types of flanges, including those for wind towers, for the best known wind energy manufacturers.

When it comes to rolling flanges, with Davi, it’s easy.
