After building the Bay Bridge, TBS is ready for heavier challenges !

Trans Bay Steel (TBS) is recognized on the West Coast as an industry leader for the engineering and manufacturing of large structural systems. In 2004 TBS purchased their first Davi plate roll, it was a Model MAV 30110 with capacity of 10ft x 7"(3000x170mm). This machine has built the huge columns of the Bay Bridge of San Francisco Bay.

The great performances of this first Davi machine allowed TBS to bring more business in house; then in 2007 TBS decided to buy a second "Big Boy" from Davi, the MAV 30125 which has a capacity of 10ft x 9"(3000x220mm) with "cold rolling" and up to 10ft x 17"(3000x400mm) in "hot rolling".
