DISH BOTTOM FLANGING MACHINE
The flanging machine MBS is the extremely innovative machine in the field of dish bottom flanging. This new generation of the flanging line , represents the most advanced reply to the new necessities of the clients; it is projected for the fabrication of the dish bottoms of any dimension. The range is very large and covers the dish bottoms up to 9 mt diameter and 50 mm of thickness.
It is completely hydraulic and controlled by simple CNC, used more to assist and help to the operator to control all the movements of the machine as a monitor of all the functions, then for the automatic use.
The movements, completely hydraulic, permit the forming roll positioning during the working cycle without being forced to stop the machine at all and without removing of the flanging roll from the dish bottom edge, guaranteeing in this way: - the major simplicity of work - the major efficiency and precision - the reduced cycle times by eliminating interruptions
Both rolls, forming and flanging, are motorized to ensure better handling in all operating conditions. The compensation of the peripheral speeds is effected automatically by the hydraulic central unit.
The machine structure has been projected to enable installation without the pit ( it is sufficient a small hole only for the cylinder ) and without the foundation ( or, on the very big models just a foundation of the very reduced dimensions).
The lower frame is equipped with telescopic protection, walk resistant, which acts as a protection of the lower carriage against the mill scale, but also as a big help to the operator during the rolls change, allowing the operator to move as close as possible to the working area.
The supporting rolls are equipped with suspension system to dampen any vibrations created whilst machine is running and in the bigger size models, they have been equipped also with the spheres that helps the movement in the machine positioning phase (thus avoiding dangerous and difficult moving operations).
The controls are installed on the console on wheels, which can be positioned at the choice of the operator to enable the best visual survey of the working area. The numerical control helps the operator to control and check all the movements of the machine.
